The Waterproofing Project for Convergys Headquarters of Florida was a massive undertaking. The entire front of the building was made up of glass and metal. Under the direction of Honeycutt Engineering our task was to remove and reseal all of the building joints in the front of the property as well as reseal skylights. Resealing the building consisted of several different types of joints such as, glass to glass, glass to metal, metal to metal, metal to concrete and concrete to concrete. The project consisted of over 12.5 miles of new caulking, 450 LF gutters with leaf guards and over 400 LF of hand fabricated curved downspouts. The project cost $797,000. The entire project took 4 months to complete and we were able to finish ahead of schedule.
