The complete roof removal of the Jacksonville Jewish Center consisted of removal of two existing roof systems down to the lightweight concrete deck and installation of a 3-ply Siplast modified bitumen membrane system. New lightweight concrete was poured in some areas of the facility to add slope and improve drainage. Over 15,000 SF of Siplast Parapro liquid applied roof system was applied in areas of high traffic.
The project included 1,200 SF of standing seam metal roofing installed on the Temple Tower, over 120 feet in the air. The waterproofing consisted of cleaning and painting the entire facility with a new elastomeric waterproofing coating and resealing building joints.
