The project for Duval County Public Schools was a roof recovery system, where the new roof membrane was installed over the existing roof. The existing modified bitumen roof system was prepared by cutting out and removing all existing membrane blisters, and power brooming the existing cap sheet to remove all of the loose granules and dirt. Then, a new 115 mil Carlisle Fleeceback TPO was fully adhered using Carlisle's Fast-100, 2-part low-rise foam adhesive. This new roof carries a 20-year No Dollar Limit Warranty.
The roof was installed while working around over 70 HVAC condensing units.
