The Waterproofing Project for the Duval county jail required four 30' swing stages to complete the project. These stages were moved around the building several times to facilitate are areas of the project. The scope consisted of removing & replacing all of the old sealants from the precast concrete joints with Dow silicone on all 9 stories of the property. The scope also called for removal and replacement of the sealant on all of the cell windows. Other waterproofing work on this project consisted of applying new elastomeric sealant to the walls on the entire Sally Port. The project took 5 months to complete and was completed ahead of schedule.
