McCurdy-Walden, Inc.
McCurdy-Walden has been in business over 20 years. During that time we have performed roof replacement projects on many large
commercial properties including malls, grocery stores, schools, high rise office buildings, condominiums, and military bases.
McCurdy-Walden, Inc. has experience in roofs of all sizes from the 1,500 SF scoreboards at Jacksonville Municipal Stadium
to the 1,200,000 SF Winn Dixie Distribution Center in Baldwin, Florida.
McCurdy-Walden has
over 33 trucks including a 26-ton crane, as well as more than 70 skilled employees ready to serve our customers. We maintain
our own roll-off dumpsters and all of the latest mechanical roofing equipment. We adhere to all of the OSHA safety
regulations for fall protection and conduct frequent safety meetings for the entire company. McCurdy-Walden is insured to
$3,000,000.00 and currently has an EMR rating of .91.
The Professional Roofing Team
President: Mark Walden
Mark Walden began his career with McCurdy-Walden,
Inc. in 1990, working as a part-time roofer’s helper while attending the University of North Florida. He started full
time in 1993 as an estimator, eventually moving to a project manager’s position. In 1998 Mark assumed the role of Vice
president and chief project manager, supervising all other estimators and project managers. Over his career, Mark has procured
and successfully completed over $60,000,000.00 in commercial roofing projects.
Seventeen years later,
Mark takes the lead again, as president of McCurdy-Walden, Inc. Mark holds a bachelors degree from the University of North
Florida and has a certified roofing contractor license. He is currently enrolled in the Kellogg School of Management program
at Northwestern University.
Project Manager: Dan
Reese Dan came to McCurdy-Walden after graduating with a Construction Management
degree from the University of North Florida, with a minor in Business Administration. Out of college,
Dan spent time working with a General Contractor where he was quickly promoted to project manager. As a State Certified Building
Contractor, Dan brings his construction knowledge to the commercial roofing industry making him an excellent addition
to the McCurdy-Walden construction team.
Production Manager: Jonathan Walden
With 13 years in the roofing industry Jonathan has managed and completed nearly all of McCurdy-Walden’s high profile
projects. He field managed the Winn Dixie Distribution Center and St. Johns Town Center projects to name a few. He manages
a workforce of over 70 roofing professionals. Jonathan has the experience to handle the large projects while making sure owners
and tenants remain happy during the construction process.
Estimating:
Arnold Romano
With over 10 years experience in roofing-related estimating, Arnold’s
expertise includes low slope, built-up gravel, modified bitumen membrane, singly ply membranes and steep slope roofing including
tile, slate, shingle and standing seam.
